In charge of the System-on-Chip (SoC) level power/system management features including but not limited to power prediction/managemnt, Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS), Reliability, Availability, Serviceability (RAS) features as well as out-of-band controls. Being engaged in the entire SoC development phases and provide the end-to-end support across pre-silicon emulation, post-silicon calibration, bug-fix till delivering to customers. Your responsibility will include:
Design, implement and validate firmware in C, assembly for the embedded Xtensa LX Power Management (PM) sub-system of CIX SoC
Develop and maintain the RTOS infrastructure running on the PM sub-system.
Develop peripheral drivers (SPI/Ethernet/I2C/PWM…) for the PM sub-system
Develop scripts on host PC to speed up firmware development/validation work.
Being engaged in manufacturing, algorithm parameters tuning and sensor calibrations.
Work with system designers to extract low-power requirements and implement theirs algorithms.
Work closely with OS/SW team to implement the interface/service docking with upper softwares.
Work closely with test engineer to fix the defects on time.
Perform code reviews, write and maintain relevant documents
任职要求
Solid C/C++ coding abilities.
Experience with at least one of ARM Cortex-M series, RISC-V, Xtensa LX/NX architectures, cross compiling development environments etc.
Experience in Linux, RTOS and multithreaded programming.
Expert using GIT for version control related tasks (branching, patching, merge etc.)
Proficiency with at least one scripting language for example Python or Perl.
Familiar with silicon bring-up phase is a plus.
Knowledge of DFS/DVFS/AVFS, PID, power prediction algorithm is a plus.
Teamwork spirit, good written English skills.
Willingness to learn new skills and do the work necessary to succeed.
Academic Credentials:
BS/MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or relevant discipline
At least 3 years' firmware development experience
